Special Competence- skills:

• Institutional works including community centres, medical research laboratory design, hospitals, tertiary teaching, courthouses and veterinary facilities. Services in demand where client brief needs to be ‘work shopped’

• Special interest in the design of purpose built fitments to cater for unique tasks where problem definition and evolution of design solution with client is required. For example: how to transfer a 600 kg recumbent large animal from operating theatre to recovery.

Another specialty has been in the development of low energy consumption buildings with particular interest in passive energy systems. Very topical now. Commitment extends back to design of passive solar house in 1988 which won the Nevada State energy award that year.
